The StrathAyr System

The StrathAyr System combines natural turf with a reinforced sand root zone. It provides long term economic and athlete safety benefits not previously available. Usage levels are so high that despite the capital costs, StrathAyr’s cost per event is lower than for conventional fields. It is a long-life, low-maintenance option for sports fields, race tracks and other high-use areas.

The ReFlex® mesh elements in StrathAyr offer load-bearing capacity equivalent to a secondary asphalt road. The ReFlex® matrix prevents compaction and permits root zone aeration, encouraging vigorous turf growth and rapid repair.

The StrathAyr System can be applied consistently across all sports fields and countries. Only the turf species changes depending on climate and sport. StrathAyr has been tested extensively by universities for over 10 years.
