Poa pratensis var 'Rugby'

Rugby was bred to withstand environmental stresses over a wide geographic area and can be considered “environmentally tolerant.” Of particular delight to homeowners and professionals is Rugby’s ability to provided high quality turf even at both low-moderate fertility levels and limited moisture.

Rugby has good disease resistance to Leaf spot, Powdery Mildew, Dollar Spot, Stem Rust, and Fusarium Blight. It maintains a medium-dark green texture even under low-moderate nitrogen and water inputs. Rugby is an excellent variety to blend with other bluegrasses, perennial ryegrass, fine fescues and tall fescue.
